Last time during revision, I got stuck in a section of Starfox Adventures, in which the eponimous hero has to climb onto the back of a pterodactyl, and knock down four pillars while shooting down the fighters defending them. This seemed rather strange, because it was a substantial difficulty jump compared to the rest of the (relatively trivial) game.
Yesterday, I tried it again, with similar results. Until I remembered that I possessed another controller with an autofire switch. I switched to that and completed the mission first time.
I have a suspicion that the developers didn't take those plebs who hadn't replaced the default controller into account. Bad developers.
